Sara E. Baxter Communications
Sara graduated from Ottawa's Algonquin College, Journalism Print, in 1995. She spent the next 18 years covering all aspects of print media for a variety of Canadian newspapers, including four years as the managing editor of two medical journals in Montreal. Sara's work has also been featured in newspapers in Ireland and her native England.
Since 2006, Sara has won more than a dozen awards for outstanding achievements as a Quebec writer, editor, editorialist, columnist and photographer. In 2007 Sara was nominated for, and won, the highly-prestigious Lindsay Crysler award from the Quebec Community Newspapers Association. This award is given to one journalist every year for "outstanding contribution to community newspapers and their success."
